There are so many galvanizing sealers on the market, how do you choose them? Dazhi Chemical's HKS-301 is a relatively mature galvanizing sealer product.
Features
1. A water-soluble galvanized sealing agent, suitable for all galvanized passivation after sealing, suitable for hanging plating and barrel plating parts;
2. The sealing layer of HKS-301E galvanizing sealant is heat-resistant at 120 ℃ for 24 hours. It has good corrosion resistance, and the neutral salt spray can reach the standard for 100~200 hours.
Proposed production process
Pretreatment → zinc-nickel alloy/zinc-cobalt alloy/zinc-iron/zinc-plated electroplating → two water washes → acid activation → two water washes → trivalent chromium passivation → two water washes → sealing agent 301E → barrel plating drying workpiece (rotation speed: 200-400 r/min minutes, rotation time: 5-30 seconds). The hanging plating drying workpiece adopts blow drying method, 1-3 minutes → drying (60-80 ℃,10-30 minutes).
Maintenance of sealant
1. Supplement according to the pH value or the amount taken out during production. When the pH value is lower than 9.0, adjust it to the normal range with ammonia water or 20% sodium hydroxide. Avoid mixing acid in production or precipitation will occur;
2. Sealing agent concentration is high, the film color is light, high corrosion resistance. The sealing agent concentration is dilute, which can maintain the original color of the film layer, but the corrosion resistance is lower. Heating concentration takes the lower limit and normal temperature concentration the upper limit.
3. Pay attention to the substitution pollution of metal ions (such as zinc or chromium). If the total metal ion content is higher than 250 mg/L, it will increase the chance of sagging and reduce the corrosion resistance. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the workpiece enters the closed tank.
