Some customers consulted and fed back that in the process of using alkaline cyanide-free zinc plating, what is the reason for the poor distribution of coating thickness and the difference in coating walk-off?
Dazhi Chemical Technology made a comparison based on field experience and the characteristics of alkaline cyanide-free galvanized HKS-306A:

1. The process can obtain bright zinc coating, the coating thickness distribution is uniform, can be used trivalent chromium blue passivation to obtain uniform and beautiful blue passivation film, the resulting coating can be colored, blue, black passivation treatment;
2. The coating has good ductility and no brittleness, can be used in high current density electroplating, and can meet the requirements of 220 ℃,30min baking without blistering, and no fog after trivalent chromium color passivation;
3. Suitable for hanging plating and barrel plating, plating solution stability is good, there is no problem of decomposition products;
4. The coating position is good, more suitable for complex shapes of the workpiece, especially suitable for large shell type of workpiece;
5. The coating has good corrosion resistance, and can reach various corrosion resistance standards with passivation solution;
6. Does not contain complexing agent, belongs to environmental protection type electroplating, wastewater treatment is simple.
Function and control of brightener
1.HKS-306A alkaline non-cyanide galvanized cylinder opening agent: daily production at 50~200 ml per thousand ampere supplement, its role is to improve the current density range, improve the dispersion ability of the plating solution and have a certain degree of flexibility, the higher the temperature of the plating solution, the higher the zinc concentration, the greater the consumption;
2.HKS-300L alkaline cyanide-free zinc plating brightener: 80~200 ml per kiloampere added in production, its role is to effectively improve the brightness of the coating and low-area brightness capacity, if the amount is too much will increase the brittleness of the coating;
3.HKS-alkaline cyanide-free zinc plating regulator or purifier: it can effectively eliminate the phenomenon of fog and brittleness caused by excessive heavy metals and organic impurities. when opening the cylinder, 30~50 ml of regulator is added according to the amount of hard water impurity content, and 30~50 ml of regulator is added according to the carry-out loss or 1kg of sodium hydroxide;
4.HKS-alkaline cyanide-free zinc plating additive: to improve the coating's walking ability and the brightness of low current areas, with special requirements for low positions, and the consumption is 10~50 ml per kA;
5.HKS-alkaline cyanide-free zinc plating wetting agent: applied to hanging plating and barrel plating of alkaline cyanide-free zinc plating, fine bubbles generated on the surface of the plating solution can cover the evaporation mist of sodium hydroxide on the surface of the plating solution; The added amount is 4~6mm thick foam when the plating solution is energized, and no popping sound will occur. When added, it is diluted with the same amount of water and then evenly distributed in the plating solution.
