Solution composition and operating conditions
Chromic Anhydride 250g/l sulfuric acid 2.7g/l CR-25C 15-20 ml/l Cr3 1-3g/L Temperature 55-60 ℃ current density 30-90 amps/square decimeter Anode area: cathode area 2-3:1 Production maintenance Add about 10 ml of CR-25C hard chromium catalyst per 1000 ampere hour, or 5-7 litres of CR-25C hard chromium catalyst per 100kg of chromic anhydride.
