Decorative electroplating process of non-cyanide bronze

Bronze (Cu-Zn) plating is a commonly used alloy plating process. As a decorative plating, in furniture, decoration, building hardware industry is widely used. The bronze process can obtain different colors according to the adjustment of the Cu-Zn ratio in the coating. In the appropriate proportion, can be obtained similar to gold gold imitation gold plating.

Bronze electroplating in the past mostly cyanide electroplating, but cyanide toxicity is too large, between the protection of the human body and the environment and the introduction of cyanide-free bronze process. Cyanide-free bronze is divided into several systems: glycerol-zincate system, potassium sodium tartrate system, pyrophosphate system and so on. But compared with cyanide plating, the stability is slightly worse.

At present, Dazhi Chemical has developed an environmentally friendly sodium salt system (DZ-316) cyanide-free bronze. After several years of market testing, its process stability should be first-class, and the product effect is almost the same as cyanide electroplating.

Traditional cyanide bronze plating mainly uses sodium cyanide as a complexing agent, and copper and zinc ions are also provided by cuprous cyanide and zinc cyanide. The 316 bronze process of Dazhi Chemical uses environmentally friendly sodium salt as a complexing agent, and copper and zinc ions are provided by environmentally friendly copper and zinc salts. Dazhi Chemical's environmentally friendly sodium salt is a non-toxic, stable alternative developed for sodium cyanide. It can be directly replaced by sodium cyanide and added to the bronze plating solution with cyanide system.
